FACILITY ACCREDITATION
The special education school at The Ranch near Rupert is operated by the Minidoka County School District, and is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
All facilities, as a condition of licensors, are inspected annually by the local health department and fire marshal.
Idaho Youth Ranch contracts with, and is regularly inspected by the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections.
THE IDAHO YOUTH RANCH HAS RECEIVED MANY HONORS AND AWARDS
University of Oklahoma's National Resource Center for Youth Services: "One of 72 programs, nationwide, at the forefront of activity in support of today's children and families." 1989

Idaho State University. Innovator in Health Care: Finalist. 1993
National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges: Most unique and innovative project in America. 1994
OJJDP Guide for Implementing the Comprehensive Strategy for Serious, Violent and Chronic Juvenile Offenders: Promising Program. 1995
1999 recipient of the national Barksdale Brown Volunteerism award from the Alliance for Children and Families; awarded for The Ranch's program involving youth as volunteers in their communities.
1999 Recipient, Southwest Idaho and Eastern Oregon Better Business Bureau Integrity Counts! Award. This was the first time a charitable organization received this award.
2000 Recipient of Daily Points of Light Award from the Points of Light Foundation.
Governor Dirk Kempthorne, an Honorary Member of the Idaho Youth Ranch's Board of Directors, proclaims September 28, 2000 as Idaho Youth Ranch Day.
2001 Make A Difference Day, Outstanding State Project Award from USA Weekend, Walmart and the Points of Light Foundation.
Recipient of the Best of Boise award in 2004 and 2005 for our thrift stores from the Boise Weekly.
